I will be moderating the Future of Work track at this year’s Internetdagarna 2021, together with experts from my network. Hybrid working, remote and the gig economy are some of the subjects we will touch upon. The track will end with a co-lab together with the audience to try and pave new ways forward for hybrid ways of working. Since the beginning of 2020, I have been fortunate to be part of the project group behind Giglab Sverige – a collaboration between Jobtech Development / Swedish Public Employment Service, Skatteverket, Coompanion, and The Stockholm School of Economics together with Stiftelsen Svensk Industridesign and svenska Labbnätverket. Together we explore paths towards a more sustainable growth of the gig economy in Sweden. As a freelancer / gig worker myself since 12 years, this of course feels like a very important project also on a personal level.
Hack the Crisis Sweden – winners of virtual hackathon with 7000+ participants
Hack the Crisis Sweden – 7000+ hackers, submitting over 500 solutions to help Sweden cope with the corona virus; as part of an initiative by The Swedish Government the first weekend of April. The objective: come up with solutions that can be implemented within two months and make real impact. We joined – AND WON our category!!

Why every company should have a gig strategy
Will everyone be a gig worker in the future? With the rise of the gig economy it is becoming all the more common for people to take on several freelance gigs as opposed to looking for permanent employment. I have been an active part of the gig economy for the past nine years, starting my own company right out of university instead of looking for a traditional job. Today, I am an advocate for work life flexibility and a strong believer of that all the more people will turn to become ‘giggers’ in the future. That’s why it’s becoming all the more important for companies to have a gig strategy in place.
