To eat the frog, or not to eat the frog? That is the question. How to find focus and set a structure for your freelance life was the theme when 50+ Stockholm-based freelancers met early this morning for an hour of networking, inspiration and coffee. For the 5th version of Freelance Mornings, Rasmus Solholm and myself were happy to share the stage with focus expert Oskar Eklind and content creator Ulrike Schulz.

Learnings and reflections from 2023
What a full-packed year of learnings, new connections and the exploration of new technologies and methodologies. Being a part of Modda Sörmland, starting Freelance Mornings, looking into new models for regional development with Almost There and also getting to be part of a team at Innocean Worldwide deep-diving into the market for electrical vehicles. Not to forget a continued focus on the future of work through Svenska Nomader, facilitating innovation event with Innovation Pioneers, and being part of moderating, speaking and organizing many other meetups, conferences and event together with different partners and friends.

Upskilling and Reskilling for Freelancers
Write down what a day in your life in five years time will look like. Now, what do you need to get there? That was one of the tips that my freelance colleague and partner Rasmus Solholm shared this morning on how to set a personal upskilling strategy for oneself. Another full house as we hosted our third Freelance Mornings at The Park Södra, this time focusing on upskilling and reskilling for freelancers. The panel consisted of the amazing Katarina Strömberg (Facilitator / Consultant), Johan Åberg (Founder Next State) and Monica Avby-Strahm (LinkedIn).

Freelance collaborations to boost sales
Wow – a full house this morning when we hosted our second Freelance Mornings at The Park Södra! Fifty freelancers (and freelance hang-arounds) gathering in the early morning hours to network, drink coffee and learn from each other. Super thankful to Mikael Westmark and Maria Niemi for joining the panel of the day when we explored the power of ‘freelance-to-freelance collaborations’.
