Personal branding strategies for freelancers

THANK YOU to everyone that took part in the first Freelance Mornings today! I’m beyond happy to see how many people showed up in the early morning hours to share mine and Rasmus Solholm’s vision of creating a laid-back, monthly meetup for freelancers. To connect, share experiences and grow together.

Thank you to Jacqueline Kothbauer, Mikaela Aare and Sandra Stadelmann for joining our panel on the theme of this month: Personal Branding!

Some key-take aways from the conversation:

  • Dare to try new things! If you’ve never done it before, who is to say that you can’t? Have a daring approach to personal branding (and freelancing as a whole).
  • As a freelancers – it’s not only about your skill set. Clients also choose to work with you because of YOU. Stay personal on social media when talking about yourself and what you do, without being too private.
  • Use generative AI as your super power assistant – create, get support, brainstorm new ideas. Bring your personal branding game to the next level.
  • Of course, networking is always a good strategy when building your brand and when setting the foundation for a sustainable freelance life. That’s why we believe that meetups such as this one are so valuable.

So again, THANK YOU to everyone that showed up! You made the event. Being there, listening, giving feedback, and talking with each other.

And thank you to The Park for hosting us

I already look forward to our next get-together after the summer. And I hope to see both familiar and new faces in the crowd, and up on stage. Let’s keep on building this together! ☀️
