How can VR/AR/XR inspire children and young people to pursue studies and careers in tech?
I am excited to announce that I am starting a new project as digital strategist for Region Sörmland, working on the concept Modda Sörmland – Sweden’s first digi-physical science center. The concept combines physical and digital activities with the help of Extended Reality (XR) to encourage more young people to pursue education in technology, science, and math.
In a few years time we’ll go to work in the Metaverse. Or will we? This new space, this merge of different technologies, is on the rise. The use of VR technologies, immersive digital worlds and avatars that meet, speak and collaborate. We’re just in the beginning of the development of what will be the future of the internet. Exploring what the space could be used for: entertainment, meetings, conferences. But also training, product development and virtual offices.
A study released in Harvard Business Review shows that in 2022 more women than men have asked for more flexibility to work remotely post-Covid-19. This could mean women risk falling behind in the workplace, as another study shows that remote workers have a 50% lower rate of promotion.

Remote working, hybrid teams, digital nomads, the gig economy and a globalized labor market. What will the future of work look like and how can we prepare for the “new normal” already today? Those were some of the questions raised on our track at Internetdagarna in the end of November. We’ve now summarized the learnings from our joint co-lab on hybrid ways of working!
I will be moderating the Future of Work track at this year’s Internetdagarna 2021, together with experts from my network. Hybrid working, remote and the gig economy are some of the subjects we will touch upon. The track will end with a co-lab together with the audience to try and pave new ways forward for hybrid ways of working.
