Employees, freelancers and AI agents teaming up

What is the future of work? Employees, freelancers and AI agents teaming up. This morning Freelance Mornings hosted the opening session of Sime at Epicenter with a talk on Teams of the future and AI agents.

Rasmus Solholm and I were joined on stage by Lisa Hartikainen, Maral Kalajian and Jennifer Florido to dive into the future of work from a combined freelance, tech ecosystem and corporate perspective.

Some learnings:

- Yes, AI will change how work is done and what human teams deliver. But that’s not a bad thing. The agents can focus on the repetitive stuff so we humans get more time focusing on what’s important.

- We all need to adapt a ”gig mindset” regardless of if we are freelancers or employed. To focus on delivering results and adding value in the work we do. More execution-driven.

- Bringing a freelancer into the team means bringing in expertise with a powerful outside-in perspective. Companies that integrate their freelancers well have a lot to gain.

- You can’t drink beer with an AI agent! Or experience real human drama. Human connection is more important than ever in the world of AI. Let’s use the productivity gains to spend more time with each other, meet, connect, collaborate, and just be human.

THANK YOU to our panelists!! And to everyone in the audience. I love the vibe of this community Thank you to Maria Alberto Cruz and Cinthya Treto for helping out. Thank you to Epicenter Stockholm for making Freelance Mornings possible this year.

What a morning ☕️☀️!
