AI and trends shaping the future of work

When you put 50 freelancers together in a room to discuss AI and trends shaping the future of work – great insights happen. Thank you Maria Selting and Max Thormé for joining our Freelance Kick-off panel on September 5th and sharing you insights and tips! A Freelance Mornings first evening event made possible by our friends at Hiroy.

Some insights from the evening:

  • AI can help increase our productivity by 10x if we figure out what reparative tasks we can automate.
  • We can explore becoming even more creative when using AI to add new skills: like design, video, or writing.
  • We shouldn’t rely on just one skill, we need to be able to work in various areas, especially as freelancers, to keep on top.
  • Will we reach a point when AI makes decisions for us? Will AI even be our boss?
  • In recruiting, it will become more common that AI finds candidates. And maybe even talks with them before booking a first interview.
  • There will be more freelancers going forward. More experts in different areas. That companies will need for specific tasks.
  • Maybe new technology can free up time and allow us to work less? Or at least spend our working days doing more meaningful work.

Thank you for making the evening possible Per Alm and Rickard Sandett! And as always, a special thanks to my partner in crime Rasmus Solholm ☀️
